When I read the title of the post, I thought black wagon wheels. But those things look GREAT! Nice job!

To answer a few questions:

Buckwheat: The red strip and the word "corvette" were all hand painted. The black and red on the center caps were sprayed. The wheel itself was powered coated.

Vinny T: I think you misread my previous post. I did not buy the rims already done up. I bought a old set of silver painted rims and redid them as posted. (See explanation above.)

I really like the red on the outside

I did something similar but, kept it powder black with some black paint on the inside. Check it out.
