Mine are beige color and I hardly drive the car but the part that is dirty is not the that crosses your chest but the part that roles inside the wall of the car? I tried to spray the carpet cleaner and it wont do anything!
Has anyone deal with this problem? any way to clean them?

I've used Griot's Garage Interior cleaner with pretty good success. You might consider using a real soft brush to work the cleaner into it. I would be careful using anything not intended for dyed fabric, as it might affect the color. If you want to try anything like that, you might try it in an inconspicuous place first.

On my C4 (beige interior) I used some warm water and a scoop of Oxyclean. I pulled the belt out completely and blocked it then put towels around the area I worked, using a scrub brush worked the oxyclean solution in, wiped clean with a dry towel, and then let them dry. Doesn't harm the webbed material and they looked like new.
I mix some simple green and water together. Take two clothes pins, pull the seat belt all the way out and then put on clips to stop the belt from retracting.
Spray on the simple green mixture and a nail brush or something similar in size and scrub them up.
Get a pail of clean water and rag and rinse the belts off with the rag and let them sit until they are dry.
My problem is worse. Apparently there is something wrong with the retract mechanism. If I lean out the window to get a parking ticket at a garage, then the dirty belt gets on my shirt. I've cleaned it, but it keeps coming back. Anyone else had this problem. I just wipe it away with a rag and it works for a while.... then it comes back.

This is what I've been doing with the C5 oak interior and the C4 tan before it............No dirt on belt....No stains on shirt
