Default Best source for cargo net/shade?

My recently purchased '99 Coupe was factory equipped with the shade and net according to the Service Parts Label but a previous owner apparently kept them (along with the CD changer.) Has anyone bought these from anyplace other than the General? I had them with my '98 and I really liked them. But I don't think I liked them enough to spend over $100.00 for them!!!

Thanks,
Tom

keep checking the parts for sale section. picked mine up new in the plastic from a previous C5 owner for 10 bucks including shipping. A few weeks later I saw another set.

Perhaps post a WTB sunshade cargo net in that section?

I've seen a few lately for 10 bucks. Good luck, I like my net and shade.

I've also got a '99 and it too was missing these items but I got both of them in the C5 parts for sale section.

dont forget to check to see that you have the cargo net nuts! If not, I think you can use wing nuts from the local hardware store in the mean time. or call GENE

Corvette Recycling: http://www.corvetterecycling.com/category_s/1.htm

Here's a link to a used cargo net: http://www.corvetterecycling.com/pro...15356-1701.htm

Or call Bob at Fichtner Chevrolet at 800-234-5284: http://temp.corvetteforum.net/c5/ken...rtspage1.shtml

Or call Gene Culley at GM Parts House 610.862.0550 x 172: http://www.gmpartshouse.com/

Try one of the used parts forum vendors listed on the left side of the screen towards the bottom. They might have them at a really good price.
