Has anyone here ever bought or tried to buy from "buyavette.net"?

Any experience to share? What about that 5year/100K warranty?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

My guess it that they are very pricey there because they offer free shipping world wide.... Hmmmmm,

They are expensive, but if their 5 year/100K miles warranty is legit, it doesn't sound too bad.

For example, I see an 02 EB z06 with 69K for $20K. Sure it's high, but it's no higher than the forum members Z06's...

The deal maker/breaker is the legitimacy of the warranty. I just wanted to see if anyone has had experience with this company.

I bought my 03 Z from their location in Atlanta just off I-85 at the Beltway. David Ahn was the salesperson. Knowledgeable, low keyed, not a pushy guy at all. I bought the car by phone, then drove down to examine it two days later. He offered to walk around the car while on the phone with me as he detailed the vehicle's condition. He also offered to send pictures of anything I asked about. I've put 12,000 miles on the car since, and the only things I've done is change the oil a few times, installed a CLB, replaced a corner light bulb and new tires. Still using the original battery, but wondering if I should replace that too.

Overall a very good experience with American Sports Car Center (Buyavette.net).

What about the price? Are they totally firm on it? It's a little pricey compare to other dealers.

Did you get the free warranty?

Thanks for your info.

They just started the free warranty on all cars in the past year. I did not get that offer. I had a 90 day.

They were willing to deal on the price. In fact, we dealt a couple of grand while we were on the phone. I told them I wasn't going to drive that far to see it even if it was perfect because I thought it was priced too high. We exchanged a couple of phone calls before the owner got involved and made what he called his lowest possible offer. It was within the range I'd decided upon early, so I gave them a credit card number to hold the car. They agreed to return the credit card deposit if the car didn't meet the description they gave me.

I only found two other cars that met my qualifications. One was in Ohio at a Chevy dealer, and the other was at a well known Corvette reseller in Fl. The Ohio dealer refused to hold the car for a week until I could get there, and the Fl. reseller refused to deal more than a few hundred on the price. All the cars had approx. the same asking price and the same mileage.

I see. So you were a satisified customer. Sounds like they keep up to their promise. I'll consider them as an option then. Thank you very much for giving me all the detailed information. Happy new years to you.
