This is a shot from when I first got the car.
Child seat is no problem in a vette and the kids love the ride.
Make sure you turn the AirBag OFF!

If yours doesn't have a cutoff switch installed, you will need to install one.

I bolted my infant seat to the trunk floor right behind my tunnel, so my wife and kid could both ride with me.

Thank you for the information, my other question is I have a new born and turning the seat around to face the rear, is that going to be a problem. I also wanted to make sure I'm correct is 2003 the first year with a manual airbag shutoff switch?

No problem with our Britax seat. I won't fit backwards facing but no problem front facing. Airbag off is a MUST!

Happa, thats a great pic, I think I'm going to wait until my son get older as you have done. I don't want to chance anything and my wife is crazy enough about the baby so I don't need to stress her any more then I need to. Thank you all for the feedback its been a lot of help making this decision.
