Different wheels front and rear? Nah. But some wheel companies are trying to get a trend started to use different wheels on each side. The logic is that you only see one side of your car at a time. Personally, I'm too OCD for that.

I think I would have a seizure every time I looked at my car if it had different wheels on each side. Granted, I'm one of those that likes the more subtle changes to a car as opposed to the wild things.
Well, it is obvious to me, for all the reasons listed above, if you like it, DO IT!
(I personally think you will get LOTS of compliments. Different wheels front and back, this is what they have been doing throughout automobile history AND your choice is super bytchen wheels and the difference is that the front appears lighter than the stronger rear wheels. I truly think this an awsome choice brother!)
i would use the same front and rear, just different sizes
What I did,.... CCW SP500's in 18" on the front, and 19" on the rears.
But it is your Corvette, and you should do what makes you most happy with it.
It would'nt be my choice, but then again maybe the choice I made for my Z would'nt be your choice and I am fine with that too. They both are nice wheels too.
Ya, that could work. I'd want to see the wheels in person before committing that amount of cash though. But that could really give a meatier rear tire/wheel look. Typical or historical was to use lower profile on the front and higher profile on the rear to give a meatier rear look but with the Corvette this is not very possible so the heavier looking rims could be a good alternative.
