I have an 04 Z with ~42K miles on it and daily drive it. The previous guy bought a $3K after market warranty which is good for 100K and transferred it in my name. I had to use it already as a steering position sensor went bad and the car started to report Active handling issues. The repair bill was 427 but I only paid 100 deductible. Otherwise, the car is good, although I am now thinking that it could use a bit more power 
Edit: btw I paid 26K for mine. I think it was a good deal since it came with the warranty.
