So I keep hearing about how electric motors are the future and that they are or will be far superior to gasoline motors. They can produce 1000+ rwtq off idle etc....
My question to the tuners is: are you guys going to slow down r&d on turbos, s/c etc and start to focus on electric? I personally cant stomach the idea of a vette w/o the V8 roar. The answer I would like to hear is that electric motors are too heavy or unreliable. Im hoping I will never have to drop an electric motor in my c5 to keep up with the performance of them. Hopefully theres something Im missing here. Your input is appreciated.
im not droping an electric motor in my car....somethings shouldnt change. how the heck are we going to be able to compare the zip of an electric engine to the ear punching sound of a roaring V8 when punching on the accelerator!
electric might be the future but there will always be classic!
im not too worried about it, it takes a lot to change the ideas of people rolling in money from oil! even more so with vette owners i think
