Airbag on/off switch
I have an '03 with the passenger on/off switch in the glove box. I wanted to take my 4 year old for some ice cream (don't panic, in a cup and bring it home) and it would be her first ride in Daddy's car. But, I could not get the switch to move from on to off. I intserted a flat blade screwdriver in the slot but it didn't move easily and I was afraid to force it figuiring it was plastic and if I broke it, it might lead to some costly repairs.
Any suggestions from those of you who use the switch?

UBRight. I wonder why they didn't put this info in the User's Manual, which I did read when trying to figure out how to turn it to off.

In the owners manual, regarding airbags: #1-46, it says to insert the ignition key, push in and turn the air bag on or off...

The key
As others have said, use the key. I use mine frequently and with the '03you will have the LATCH style anchors for child safety seat/booster built right into the seat. Just don't forget to turn it back on for your next full size passenger.

You do have to look for the Latch anchor, however, as it isn't real visable.
