Best performance/safety mod anyone can buy, it lasts forever and is transferable to every car you own.

I bought my magna-flow with x-pipe for about $500 and I love it, quality, sound and performance have been great.
If I were you I would buy some new shorty headers or used LT's(please lets not get into the LT discussion)
CAI too, there are alot of option really.

If you want more performance, save up some more and get a set of long tube headers. You'll see an increase in performance with that.

Another 4-5 hundred and you are there! Your stock exhaust flow pretty good as is. Your Vararam and headers is a combination you will HEAR & FEEL for sure!

If that's all you have I would look into maintenance first. How are your tires and brakes? If you will be needing any of those soon then think about that first. Then if not check with either Chip or Chuck which have both posted in this thread and see what they can do for you. They are some of the forums best vendors. A tune would probably be best for $600 or under (tunes are usually $300-500). A cat back exhaust won't give you much more power. But the headers are a whole other story. Will cost a little more. Even if you find the headers for $500-600 the labor will put you past the 600 mark. You could always save it until you have even more money too.

Charles Barkley might have a suggestion....... probably would cost $600 or so but may not be C5 related.

Well if no SC then definately go for the exhaust. The look and sound are great improvements over stock!
