upgrading bose radio
i am upgrading bose radio with kenwood gps on 2000 corvette. is there something that must be done for the bose amps to work

If you want to keep the Bose amps and speakers, you need to get a Bose interface. In the Audio & Electronics section there is a C5 Audio FAQ sticky that has all of the information that you need.

thanks for the input, but is there a different way to power the amps? i was told at best buy that a jumper could be made up to plug into the amp harness and provide power to the amps.

I believe that is what the GMCRV2 adapter is..........
It lets you plug the new head unit into the stock GM harness and have everything (Bose speakers, etc) work like the stock head unit......
