Alternator cover
I just purchased and alternator cover from Mid America. The instructions
state that I must drill 2 holes in the alternator mounting bracket. My question is does anybody have any idea in trying to locate the proper
location to drill the holes into the bracket? Every time I try locate where to drill the holes the hole closest to the fire wall seems really close the the edge. Any ideas on how to locate where to drill. Need help prior to making an error?

Not sure if all alternator covers require drilling, but you might want to check around and see if you can find one that doesn't require you to drill into the bracket.
I just installed this one a few days ago. Wanted one that I didn't have to drill. Just take out a couple bolts, put the cover in place and reinstall the bolts. Piece of cake. Got it from PFYC web sight. Sorry I can't help you with your drilling location though.
