i bought a set. i haven't installed them but they will require trimming modifications to fit a c5.
the trimming would be similar to what you need to do to put a set of OEM c6 z06 rear guards on a c5.
so no, they wont easily fit on a c5.

I've got a box of the same and will be putting them on my torch red C5 this winter.
Maybe someone will provide some info on installing them before I/you get to it.

There is a lot of interest in this. It would be great for someone to do it and post their trials and testimonials.

Looks sweet!
Was it painful? Do you have a writeup of the stuff you had to do to get it to fit your C5?

i modified a set of those for my own specific purposes. i used the front set of the guards for the front of my rear tires:
install was about the same as installing c6 z06 rear guards, a lot of hand shaving and trimming required.
if you were to try to install them as they were intended on a c5, they will still require a lot of hand shaving and trimming.

I installed the C6Z06 splash guards on my C5....I used a dremel with a sanding wheel to trim the splash guard to fit the contour of the car. Just takes time....

I honestly don't know the difference between the "regular" C6 gaurds and the C6 Z06 gaurds ... a friend of mine picked these up for me when he was getting a set for his C6. So, I believe what I have installed are the "regular" C6 gaurds if they are in fact different from the c6 Z06 gaurds (okay ... now I think I'm as confused as a pig wearing a watch) ...

so the install is similar.. that helps - thanks!
So from what I understand, earlier there used to be only guards for the Z06 which fit only the rear wheels.
Part Number: Left Molding. #15818636
Part Number: Right Molding. #15818637
Then GM came out with C6 guards which are p/n 19170234 (4 pieces). The C6 guards are 1 each for the front and back

The only nagging question, yet to be answered, are the Z06's wider than the stock c6's?
