Haven't done mine yet, but seriously thinking about doing it this spring. My painter says he'll do it for about $100 while he's doing some touch up work on it.
I wouldn't use rustoleum, it's more of a outdoor furniture/bbq coating than a paint IMO. I used some standard duplicolor (or equivalent) in satin (semi-flat). Just take your time doing the prep, and taping off the lines. Wetsanding and painting don't take very long at all. It cost me about $20 bucks to do it myself.
hhmmm.. well, there was DIY thread where many guys painted the "corvette" on their C6 with Rustoleum without any probs.. as far as the lower bumper piece, that I think Ill go buy duplicolor for now that you mention it..
as far as Rustoleom being a bbq coating.. i dont know, its pretty multi-purpose and i got it for metal.. Rustoleum is just the brand..

I'm sure it would work fine as long as it is the type of rustoleum for plastic.
