I finally picked up my 1st Corvette this week. I never thought that I would have one... I bought a 2002 quicksilver coupe with red interior. 56k miles, 6 speed, Z51 suspension, has air intake, long tube headers, and full exhaust.
Got a check engine light on the way home with a code for the b2 s1 O2 sensor, found the o2 sensor wire harness extension had some melting damage from the header.
I replaced the o2 sensor wire extender, and added a skip shift bypass also today. Plan on some driving this weekend...
I am not used to driving something like this, and I am really suprised by this car so far. The only other performace vehicles that I have had have been sportbikes. This is my 1st performance car.
I'm in texas, we are supposed to have the front plate, it has the bracket in the trunk for the front plate, will have to use it when I get it....

Car looks awesome man, congrats. Just a heads up though, I'm in Texas too and I've never been pulled over for not having a front plate. I'm in DFW, so it might be different where you're at.

I'm right outside of Houston, near Humble/ Lake Houston. I know some people with F bodies that have ran into issues because of the no front plate. I would rather just use it, than to draw attention to myself
don't want to give the cops a reason to pull me over...
