Due to some light damage, I'm going to replace the front bumper cover. Before I start, I wanted to see if anyone has had any expereince that they would like to share to make the project go smoother. Thanks in advance.
Not a big deal, takes about 1/2 hour. You'll need a fairly long extension to get the bolts holding the fascia to the fenders, the rest is normal bolts or pushpins.

Make sure when you put it back together you DO NOT over tighten the 10 mm nuts that hold the facia to the fenders. Be careful going back together. You don't want to scratch the new cover on the bolts that are sticking out of the fenders. It's best to use two people to make sure you don't scratch it. If you look at the picture, I put blue tape over the bolts. Once in place, there is enough movement to remove the tape. Take your time and you will have no problems.
Good Luck, Bill

Thank you for the great feedback. My hope is to take the current cover off and have it repaired and repainted. If it can not be repaired, the place I'm taking it to offers a paint ready replacement for about $250.
