Speaking of proper cover, in the picture was it completely on?
Mine fits like a freaking glove on the vette. I used it over Christmas while it sat outside at my sister's house during my trip to NM.

mechanic buddy said it was a good idea.. keeps them from getting bald spots... I had a bunch of extra ones so I thought id put them underneth the body also.. Extra protection from the cold floor

It didnt cover end to end... It was a Medium sized car cover( not built for a vette as its loose in many spots .. but does the job.
