Default Help on Chrome Engine Caps

I am getting ready to up to sell my stainless bling in my engine compartment and upgrade to chrome with Creative Engines Covers as I can afford it. I would like to start with some help with all the caps I have. I know there is allot of vendors here selling them. I like the etched version but want good quality in chrome that donot scratch at the shows. Here is a picture of where I will be replacing the caps. Creative's are very pricey as they sell by the piece. Would like a kit deal. Pictures would be great along with your help. Thanks.

I have all creative's chrome throughout my engine very high quality bling.
I have also done business with Chip from Custom Corvette Accessories he has engine caps but they are not etched that i know of. Both are very highly recommended. Keep in mind that all chrome will scratch but not as bad as polished ss, so you have to be careful with what you wipe with and use only one microfiber towel just for chrome.

Put your list together and contact CEC. They will work with you.

Laurie,

I just received a set of etched chrome engine caps from David at DJ Motorsports ( http://www.shop.djmotorsportaccessor...1&productId=21 )last week - they look amazing - packaged like jewelry! They sell them in SETS for either manual or auto transmission. I have not had time to take photos on my car yet, but they look great installed. I am attaching a photo of their caps. All of these caps (except the Washer Fluid cap) fit snugly over the stock caps and attach with supplied velcro so that they can be oriented perfectly to your application as well as removed if the car has to go in for service - eliminating fear of theft. This also maintains the mechanical integrity of the stock caps underneath. The Washer Reservoir cap is a full replacement cap. There are several vendors selling polished billet engraved caps, but this was the only source I found with actual CHROMED ENGRAVED billet caps...

There is nothing wrong with CEC. It is great quality. Check the prices. Then check prices at DJ Motorsports. Quality of both are excellent.
