Default Leather Wrapping the Interior?

I don't know if this has been asked here before, or if it's even possible, so I thought I would ask. I know the C6 has an option for a leather wrapped dash, interior door panels, etc. So I was wondering if this could also be done with a C5 Z by someone like DSVettes or someone else since the C5 doesn't come with a leather wrapped dash, interior door panels, etc.

I appreciate your help,

Josh

You might want to check out Caravaggio. They offer a nearly complete leather interior package for C5's, but be prepared to drop some coin...

Those who have their products, LOVE them. They are top notch!

Only problem with the Caravaggio package is that it costs about the same as the car. I have the seats and absolutely love them. If money isn't a concern they can't be beat.

Nothin' like a Caravaggio interior.

I'd put his interior against any Porsche or Ferrari.

That is the best looking interior I've ever seen in the C5 Z. That's exactly what I want for my C5 Z when I get it. Right now I'm just checking out different companies/parts so I'll have everything planned out by the time I get the car and am ready to start modifying it. Are there any other companies besides Caravaggio that do a good leather wrapped interior package? Thanks for the quick responses everyone, I appreciate it.

Chris at Carskinz (forum vendor) is doing my A-Pillars and door handle bezels. I have both Caravaggio and VE components so I'll let you know how these compare once I receive them. Everything I have so far (seats, console, steering wheel, door armrests, visors, door pulls, console cover and driverside underdash console is top notch but I have had to do this one piece at a time because of costs.

Josh,

Caravaggio is undoubedtly the biggest player in terms of complete interior overhauls like this... however, there are many other companies who specialize in subsets of the interior.

You'll want to become familiar with Vette Essentials for starters. They do seat skins, steering wheels, console covers, shift *****, and many other interior items.

Also look into Carskinz (no website yet, but he's a supporting vendor active in the community here... his handle is Carskinz) who offers similar products, in addition to leather-wrapping things like the radio bezel and center console itself (not just the lid). I believe Carskinz can also set you up with leather visors.

If you want an alternative to VE for the seat skins, consider DJ Motorsport Accessories. It is run by two CF members here, DavzC5 and NTRBL33. Between all these companies I have mentioned, they all have something either already in my interior, or on its way shortly. (Except for Caravaggio... my wallet can't handle that along with tuition and mortgage )

As a finishing (non-leather) touch, don't forget to consider some Lloyds mats for your footwells!

Thanks for the list of companies, I thought DSVettes did something like leather wrapping. Caravaggio looks really nice though, the materials really do look like the best you can get for the interior.

I have some tan Caravaggio covered Sparco's and I'd love to add some more tan leather to my interior... I may try to find a local upholstery shop to cover the lower half of my door panels, glove box, armrest, and knee pad to get that two tone look.

Vetteessentials does not do complete interiors, only components. Dsvettes.com and Caravaggio do complete interiors where every exposed surface is covered in leather. I've seen both and they were excellent. I would lean towards Caravaggio for my car, if I was going to have mine done. It was incredibly luxurious looking and rivaled any high end car's interior. The only problem is that when I inquired the full package was $12,000 and up. Zowee!

One more thing, I noticed that on Caravaggio's site in the contact information section that they are in Ontario. Did those of you who have had Caravaggio interior installed have to go to Ontario, or send your car there to have this installed? Or do they have different places around the country they can do the installations at?

I believe you will have to get your car to Canada if you are seriously interested. That's the only shop they have as far as I know. When I ordered their body parts that's where I called and the parts came from.

I didn't like the other too much because they seem too much of the same color, but this... this is beautiful.
