Got back from LA Tuesday night with a 01' torch red Z06. Had to take the southern route through New Mexico to get her home here in Ft. Collins, Colorado. About 19 hours in the saddle. Anyways...about the vette. Odo now sits at 43k, bone stock (except for stereo), mint condition inside and out. Purchased from 2nd owner who was extremely meticulous and had every reciept for all maintenence and repairs. He had the car since 04' and I don't think he ever broke traction as it still sits on the original rubber and the fronts and rears are evenly worn. Yes, it needs tires but still an amazing amount of tread left considering.
The stereo is incredible. Kenwood touch-screen head with navigation and DVD etc... 2 amps, one driving a 10" focal sub and the other powering the polk front and rear sets. Install looks like something you would see on "unique whips". Forget partition to block road noise...just crank it!!
Great to finally have the car I've been wanting for years.
congrats you got the best color also. i have my stereo components sitting in the house waiting for it toget a little warmer so i can do the install. once i do it will be a very similar stereo syatem. i have a 10" diamond audio sub, 2 amps one diamond pushing the sub one 4 channel alpine pushing my 6.5 component alpine type r's, and the alpine head unit.
I used to live in Loveland.. we were practically neighbors.
Thanks!
I actually do live in Loveland on the north end. Just seems most folks don't know where it is and some confuse it with Loveland Pass up in the hills.

any way congrats again your gonna love it!
Thanks! I'm lovin' it already. The gent I bought it from just had the system put in about 4 months ago and no expense was spared. I have "nice" systems in my DD and truck but DAMN!...this thing sounds so sweet I'm almost as thrilled about it as I am the vette itself. Your gonna like yours once you get it in I'm sure. The GPS was absolutely priceless getting out of LA during rush hour traffic at night...what a lifesaver! Oh, and averaged 29.1 MPG for the trip.

Congratulations....blast to drive isn't it ....use 2 buckets when you wash it...one with car soap/one with water to wash out dirty rag between panels....
Ohhhh Welcome
Click on "My Corvette Photos" for a couple of crappy ones. Just got out and drove her today for a bit. What a ride! Man, I can't wait for spring to get here. New rubber is on the way from TireRack.
