Default New pics

Here are a couple pics a buddy with a D90 took. They were suppose to be for a calendar but it was cancelled this year. These might be a bit big. I'm trying to figure out how to resize in photobucket.

There are 3 out of 13. I keep resizing and they keep looking the same size. Am I or doing it wrong?

Ask and he shall recieve. here are a couple more

Thanks everyone for the comments. Here are a couple more.

#1 is the best of the three but I am still not sold on it's background. The harsh change from white to brick is very distracting while at the same time, not very interesting. I like the profile angle because it works well against such a background.

#2 I think is just too busy. The harsh reflections on the car and train aren't too flattering and the composition really doesn't do anything for me. Looks like you just centered up the car and took a snap shot. I love vettes, I love trains, just need to think it through a bit more so it is pleasing to the eye.

#3 has the same composiiton problems as #2 and the same background problems as #1. Paying attention to the rule f thirds would make these shots more interesting.

I'm thinking #1 would be drastically improved if it were made into a black and white. Then the brick would not be as distracting. Might not work but worth the thought.

Also, I see that the lens is noticeably stopped down so I am not quite sure why the images don't seem that sharp. Might have a lot to do with the way you resized them for the internet. I have had a lot of issues getting quality pictures from my photobucket account.

Sorry if any of this seems harsh but I thought you might actually want some constructive criticism. Can't wait to see the next shots.
