New Guy!
Hey guys how are you all doing? Well I'm actually thinking about picking up a C5 and wanted to know the basics that someone needs to know before purchasing one. This will be my first one if I make the decision to do it. Any info would be great! Thanks

I have found a 99 black/black for about $15k it has about 65k miles. I don't mind high mile cars, have always had them. Is the maintenance on corvettes high? I'm more of an amatuer on working on cars but I like to try.

Welcome to the foum. There's a good sticky with lots of useful information at the top of the page. To make life easy, click here to check it out. Take a little time and figure out what you want and shop around. It is definately a buyers market right now.

wow thats a bunch of common problems, but I've always loved vettes. I have to make my decision on getting it by tomorrow. I'm sure you all love your vettes I'm thinking I may just have to go for it. Thanks for your help guys
