MGW Shifter?
I was wondering if anyone else has ordered a shifter in the last 2 months. I ordered mine back in November and I am still waiting on it. Does it usually take this long to receive shipment? I talked to the receptionist this morning and she said it will still be a couple of weeks. They are waiting on the vendor. Aren't they the ones that make it? Anyone else not receive theirs? I am about to cancel my order. Phil

Like most manufacturers they probably use outside sources for some parts which they cannot produce. From what I understand it's a nice shifter.
The latest issue of "CORVETTE FEVER" did an article on an MGW installation in a C6.

I ordered one on Wednesday and got it by Friday. Just installed it today. I ordered mine from Vengeance. He has them in stock. I originally ordered mine from the site. But then when I saw he had them in stock I cancelled my order through MGW and ordered it from him. Give him a call he is charging the same price.

From what I read, MGW is making changes to the Corvette shifter to eliminate the rattle that some buyers have experienced. Personally, I would wait it out.

Mine took awhile to receive mine also. When I called them, the lady I spoke with explained they were waiting on the base which is machined by an outside source. It arrived about a week later. Well worth the wait.

Thanks for the quick responses guys/girls. Looks like i will wait it out. I really have heard great things about the MGW shifter. I can't really drive my car now anyway since it is packed away in the garage.

I placed my order with MGW on 12/30. It was suppose to ship last week although it didn’t. Just got a response today apologizing that they are still waiting on a supplier issue and will ship as soon as they get the part.
On my last car I waited a year for some custom double adjustable coilovers so I guess this month or two wait won't be too bad.

Actually no they didn't. She said she didn't know when they would receive them from the vendor. She told me I would either have to wait or they would give me my money back. I am just gonna wait it out.
