Both are for haulin' a**, but 1 of them actually seats 5 while going 0-60 in 4.7 seconds
Love the Grand Cherokee SRT8, but there's nothing like having your rump 4 inches off the ground while you go like stink Glad to be back in a sports car again.
If you're not towing, why drive something like that?
There are plenty of more efficent, faster vehicles out there less money then that dinosaur.
There is only 1 faster SUV on the planet- the $100,000+ Porsche Cayenne Turbo. And it's barely faster. If you need the ability to haul stuff(ie biz product, dogs, motorcycle, jet skis, etc) around, the Jeep is the ticket

The Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG, and the G55 AMG are faster as well. However, both of them are in the $100k range also.
Doesn't it only get like 8mpg though? Chrysler was never known for fuel economy.
the fuel economy on the SRT8 is horrific, but its a bada$$ ride none the less!
we dont buy performance vehicles for gas mileage, if that was the case we would have bought honda civics, not corvettes......okay bad example because the corvette still gets 28+ mpg on the highway lol
I have the previous badass Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9L and have been considering the SRT8. My daughter turns 16 next year and has been lobbying hard for the 5.9 so I think it might be time to give it up and get the SRT8. I bought the 5.9 brand new in 98 and have modded the heck out of it for off-roading with all the go fast bolt-ons as well. And just to make this Corvette related, I got to line up my Z06 with an SRT8 (at the track) and they hook like you wouldn't believe! I still pulled him but I was really impressed with it.
