Default CAI question?

Will I see any difference from using the stock airbridge with the Halltech Filter as opposed to using an aftermarket airbridge? I purchased a halltech setup but it was a 97-00 so the MAF sensor didnt fit into the airbridge without having to shave it down and it is not plugged by the TB. So i just used the stock 03 z06 airbridge? This wont effect me much will it?

The change to an after market air bridge is generally regarded as purely cosmetic unless you're highly modified and making significant increases of horsepower. It's your choice, but the additional cost of the after market air bridge can be used elsewhere.
Many of the after market air bridges also cause issues with contact of the hood insulator. The oem air bridge uses the TORX pegs and rubber grommets for easy alignment whereas the after market doesn't use anything but the clamped connections.
CALLAWAY used the oem air bridge on their C5 cars...

Callaway used the OEM air bridge on the C5-based Callaway C12's, but to eliminate the intake restriction on C5's we had to develop a new system. The C5 Honker intake relocates the MAF sensor and eliminates the air bridge completely.

That's a few levels above a typical "CAI" (cooler air intake)...
