chrome rims
has anyone run into problems of tire companys bending or breaking chrome rims when they install new tires. and then not replaceing them.
the reason i ask is that i need two new tires for my 03 vert. i have spoke to three tire companys local and they refuse to touch the chrome rims for that reason. i also spoke to my machanic and he said the same thing. any info thanks

Most of the shops won't touch the Magnesiums around here because of the chipping issue. Never heard of anyone not doing the "normal" wheels. Find a shop that has equipment and techs capable of doing proper work as suggested above with Hunter and Corghi equipment.
