2000 corvette 6-speed won't start. it started a couple of times in the morning then it wouldn't start. nothing came on. so i moved the battery cables & it looked ok so i pushed in the clutch to start it & i heard a pop then everything went dead again.i did this about 5-6 times
with the same results i need help!!!.

Well, not to be a butt or anything, but it should be real simple. Disconnect the battery first. Disconnect the starter cable connections. Remove the starter and replace it with a new one. Hook everything back up in reverse order. I never had to replace my '99's starter but will assume that you need to raise the right side, probably remove the wheel for better access. Possibly the inside fender well too... someone here who's done it can better advise you.
