Default Door hinges too noisey

My door hinges pop and squeak too much. I have used different greases and lubricants and they only stop the noise for about a day. What are you guys using? Its embarassing to get out of a Corvette and the doors pop and screech.

Mine did it when I first bought it, WD-40, worked it in, sprayed again, worked it in. No problems since.

I use motor oil in a squirt can. Its a little more substancial and lasts longer than WD-40 and dosent leave the smegma of grease or white lube.

Ours have never squeaked or anything yet,but if they do I'll probably use some PB blaster or WD 40.

I think that WD40 is a little light for door hinges. It may make the noise go away, but it may not provide enough lubrication to reduce wear.
You can get white grease in a spray can that works and resists washing off.

Been using white lithium grease for years. Comes in a spray can with straw to limit spray to the specific areas. Still need to wipe off the excess as it's ugly and gets dirty but it works.

Try this. It appears that you have a '97 from your profile. That's enough time for the roller wheel to get grooved by the tension arm under the lower hinge area. I had that problem with my '96 Camaro which was a real PIA, but it was more visible (above the lower hinge). I gooked it up with everything imaginable and it always clicked and clunked on the drivers side. You may try forcing the wheel to turn somewhat to another spot. If you lay on the ground while a friend moves the door a bit from full open you can see the mechinism in operation. Also compare both sides, one may be worse than the other.

WD-40 is a water displacement agent. In fact the name comes from the 40th attempt at creating the formula, and WD refers to WATER DISPLACEMENT. It's lubrication abilities are limited. Royal Purple is suppose to be coming out with a spray lubricant. My guess is that it will be superior to WD-40.
