The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

LTFTs usually stick around zero on a stock engine, so no difference doing this on an all stock car...but once things like air filter and headers (or more) go on, trims start to go positive and richening up the car to compensate for the additional airflow it's moving. (this is a big part of what a tune corrects - getting those corrective trims back to around 0 is the goal).
When people in that situation (positive trims) disconnect the battery, they usually do notice a difference right after the reset. Throttle response may be better, idle smoothness may be better, and WOT will feel stronger...but it's all because car is running leaner than it was.
Over time, the trims will go back to being positive, and the car will gradually start to feel sluggish again.
If anyone finds their car acts this way after a reset, it's a pretty good indicator that a tune would be beneficial.
