Great talking to you Matt. It's stock heads and you will need a complete cam package for this cam. Details are here : http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...-new-cams.html

It depends on how much it is milled. 0.010 inch is fine - 0.030 inch is not.

Well I must report, this cam has great street manners. For it being as big a cam as it is, driving it, you would not know until you hit the fun pedal.

Testing out the limits I short shifted all gears untill i got to 6th @ 32mph. No bucking smooth running. Now if I stomp the pedal it will try to go but is way undergeared for passing at that speed. I am able to start in 2nd but it takes some effort. I would say thats mostly from the twin disk exoskel clutch I have.

Overall I give this cam a 8 out of 10 FOR NOW. Keep in mind, my car IS NOT TUNED FOR THIS CAM.

If you are close by and want to hear drive or whatever, I am allways working on cars on the weekend at my house. Stop on by or catch me on the strip.....

:Cheers

I have one of these cams that I bought from a forum user and would like to know everything that I should get together for parts before I install this in my '98.

That car sounds so sweet.
