Anyone Powdercoat speedlines?
Going to do mine black would love to see some pics.
Torch red with black rims would be the best

They look fantastic... even better is to powdercoat them black and then do a thin red pinstripe around the lip.

this is what i had in mind for my car! its black i wanted to black my wheels an put a red trim! what type of paint was used for the rims ? was it a flat black

Gloss black lacquer, with a clear coat that we flattened for that look.

We got the paint at advanced auto. It is duplicolor auto paint in the Qt cans. It was put on with a paint gun. Actual spraying time a day. let them sit for a week just to harden longer before we mounted tires.
Tom put alot of time in these. Between sanding, a few coats of primer, several coats of black and then clear. The stripe is hand painted as well.
