I went over to a friend's house yesterday for his Super Bowl party. My girl and I got there early, so we decided to leave the girls at home and take our Vette's out and snap some pictures.
He's still restoring his. The bumpers are kinda beaten up since they're plastic, but he's about to order a new set. The car drives great though.
Nice! for new bumpers with the C3 I would not go stock, as they will warp over time. Get the fiberglass ones or the Truflex resin ones. They can also be molded in for a seamless look if you want. Love the C3! (still best looking body style)
Looks good! Thanks for sharing the pics. Nice to see the C5 and the C3 together. Keep in mind though that normally when you mention "your girl" and "pics" in the same post, it is a forum rule that you provide pics or your girlfriend too.

Do you have a recommendation for a place to get them?

Haha.. I had included them in my last picture post when her and I drove down to Dublin, TX, but I figured since this was just my buddy and I we didn't need any girl pictures.
Most of the parts mags have them, to include Corvette central, Ecklers, etc. Don't know if any forum vendors have them, maybe they can chime in and shoot you a price. They are usually a little less expensive than the stock ones as well. When I get home I can put up some pics of my C3 that has em in so you can see the molded look I am talking about.
