I got LG Headers. Amazing performance, headers were easy to install.

BUT!!!!!!

Their instructions are sh*t, the cats and intermediate pipes and x pipe are a bitch to line up, their instructions are completely worthless and complete ****, the O2 sensor wiring takes a great deal of thinking to get right, and their instructions are utter ****.
Seriously, when my two dogs take a sh*t, it has a higher worth than those install instructions.

Sounds like ARH 1-7/8 are your best bet!

Mine lined right up, had no problems whatsoever. My instructions were fine but who needs instructions to put on headers?
You want go wrong with whatever you buy., Kooks, LG's or ARH's

I put in ARH headers last summer and the fit was great. Did it in the garage on jack stands. Quality of material was outsanding. They are also great guys to talk to if you have questions. Sounded great and after a tune the HP increase really came on.

you are going to get ten diff options here lol. people recommend what they have. there is a guy in the c6 tech section that did a comparo of the 1 3/4 and 1 7/8 headers. it is a honest test between the kooks 1 3/4 and arh 1 7/8 test. but keep in mind the that the lg headers are longer so their performance down low should be better. i am in the same boat right now. every vendor has given me great prices and customer service. think about what you want out of your car above all else.what is good for someone elses setup/needs may not be best for car/needs. i am ordering a set on friday and i am still not sure which kit is best for me lol. i really need to figure out how much i am going to my car before i buy

contact:
Tom at ARH
George at KOOKS
Anthony at LGM

all these guys have been great to deal with which makes the decision harder.

American Racing Headers hands down. The quickest/fastest bolt-on and h/c C5Zs run these.

American Racing. Thier website reads to you. You don't even need hooked on phonics to understand why they're so good.

I have the LGs, but if I were to do it again, I'd try the ARH ones. They seem to have better feedback concerning fitment.

I installed ARH 1 7/8s with 3" catted x-pipe a few months ago. Install was easy except for the right side that required some extra force. Sound is nice. I haven't been able to dyno it yet.

I'm having trouble getting my exhaust tips lined up though. Anyone run into this on a LT / mid-pipe install?

I had the same problem. The mid pipe after the cats is twisting at the clamp when you get on it ,causing the pipe to turn. Loosen the clamp and line up the tailpipes by twisting the whole muffler assembly. Then tighten the shxx out of the clamp. My left side pipe had this problem.
Hope this helps.
