Default Temp up 10 degrees

Well I installed a set of ported and polished set of heads on the 02 Z06 and have noticed the oil temps up about 10 degrees. Anyone else seen this? They are from Texas Speed and Performance. Maybe all the cutting has made some jackets thinner drawing the heat up. The coolant temps seem to be about normal..... I think this is going to hose me out at VIR so may have to move to a external cooler..... Just looking to see if anyone else has installed a set of heads like this and had the same results

Don't know man, but if you drive hard enough you're going to need an oil cooler sooner or later anyway.

No doubt more HP/TQ lead to more heat; I don't have your setup but I did see my oil temps creep up when I started modding the car; I did install an Accusump and Ron Davis EOC radiator;

+1. If you track the car any amount and are serious about it. An oil cooler should be high on your list. I put my money into things that protect the investment I have first. Oil cooler, brake ducts, regular fluid changes. Lots of spare rotors and shelf liner

He's talking about oil temp, not coolant temp. Water wetter in the oil sounds like a bad idea.
