I think it looks tacky, unless you can hide the hinges better when the doors are open you can tell its aftermarket. I like my mods to look like it was a factory option. The yellow vette I seen, the hinges where huge that when you open the door you see yellow and black then this big metal hinges with welds doesn't blend in enough for my taste.

This thread has been around about a thousand times and the result is always the same. A huge majority have something negative to say. Long story short, it's your car so do what you want but if you are looking for praise this isn't the right place to look.
