Default How to save a sticky or thread

I'm old and not computer savy. What is the easyest way to save a sticky or thread to refer back to? If you help please go step by step so a brain dead old man can follow your instructions. Thank's guys. I date back to the slide rule days before computers and caluators. Frank

At top of thread click on "thread tools", then click "subscribe to thread".

To read a subscribed thread, click on "quick links", then click "subscribed threads".

It depends on what you want to do with the thread. If it has info in it that is valuable to you then you may want to save it on your computer. You may notice some threads where pictures have disappeared. This happens because the people who posted the pictures removed them from the host web site or closed their membership in the site. If I have something I want to hang onto for a while I copy the whole thread and paste it into a word processor document and then save it on my hard drive. This grabs copies of pictures that may disappear later.

All you have to do is open a blank word processor sheet then go to your web browser and copy the thread by highlighting the portions you want to copy with the mouse. Then hit copy and then go back to the word processor application and paste the copied data into that application. Then save it to some place you will remember on your hard drive. I have a Vette folder with sub folders under it and usually save stuff that way. I do not use My Docs or any of that other Windows desktop stuff as it is too easy to lose things that way.
