I'm talking about the build sheet I have seen in screen shots from the GM manuals posted on the board.
Hmm... I'd like to see this play out, I've searched, and FOUND a build sheet on a '69 427/435 through the gas filler cap.... but have never heard of one on a C5 other than the standard sticker.

They are in the front frame rail or bumper. (In or around that area anyways.)
Better yet...dont mess with diggin for it....Just call the Corvette Museum with you VIN and order a laminated copy of it....you can also get your original window sticker..Laminated of course

That's what I did..
but, if you want the original you'll have to remove the front fascia and take it out of the frame crossmember...

very interesting....how come GM put it in there? It sounds like an "easter egg" lol. You know, the same things you find in computer programs. Things the original manufacturer hid in there just for kicks later on?

The build sheet on the C5 should have been put in the frame rail behind the front fascia. From what I understand, you need to remove the front fascia to get to it. Would be much easier to just order a duplicate from the National Corvette Museum.
