Hi
How can i find out if anything has been done to prevent
the column lock problem on my 1999 Corvette?
The car is imported from the US

If your steering column doesnt lock when the car is off and the key is out of the ignition, then you have the column lock bypass in it. Other than that you would have to get a VIN history check to see if the previous owner had the recall done to it.

Carfax report, but it dont say anything about the column lock problem.
