Default My new vette

Well it's new to me. It's a 99 torch red coupe I bought in Pompano Fla. It's my first and I can't get the grin off my face. The wife and I brought her home last night and I had to open the door to the garage at 2:00am to check and make sure it wasn't a dream. I'm 64 years old and feel like a kid again. I took it to work this morning and what a crowd of envious co-workers showed up to congratulate me. Everybody wants to go for a ride, sit in the car, ask how fast will it go etc. You sure don't get that kind of reaction had I bought a 10 year old mazda or honda. What a rush!!! I've been the envious one since I was old enought to appreciate cars and today I own one. Life is good. One more check on the bucket list. I can't check out now I got too many miles to log on my new baby.

Good for you! Congratulations. Permanent grin is a common side effect. I still have the grin after two years.

Best regards from another old Vette guy.

Congratulations, I still have that feeling every time I open the garage. I can not wait for spring time to roll around. Winter sure feels like it last longer each year.

Again, congrats, and welcome to the club. Keep her clean, keep her running, and put some good mileage on her.

Congrats on the new Vette. I'm in the same boat as you - at the ripe old age of 48 just bought my first Corvette a couple weeks ago - a black '99 coupe. Have a s*&t eating grin on my face the second I turn the key in my garage and listen to the racket of the Borla exhaust. Now if it will just stop raining .......
