is it just a drive with a bunch of vettes? or what???

A lot of people meet up at a shop in Costa Mesa and then cruise over to the restaurant. The owner does a buffet and makes the parking lot Vettes only. Then basically just shoot the breeze for a few hours and then head home. I'll post a link to the most recent thread...
Happy belated, sweet ride, great deal....as you have heard from many others already, be safe..it has no prob getting up and going. You have nothing to prove to others, just enjoy the ride..

I am 62 and have wanted a vette for as long as I can remember. Somehow, it just never happened. I settled once for an MGB and once for a 280Z, but never got around to the vette. I started searching about three weeks ago, and Saturday I am driving 8 hours (4 out and 4 back) to look at and hopefully buy my first. Hey, I am only 44 years behind you! I will let you know how it goes.
