Is this Torch Red
Supposedly this is a 2002 Torch Red Corvette. Maybe it is just a bad picture.
Is this Torch Red or another color. I want to take a ride to take a look at it if in fact it is. Thanks

No it is not Torch Red. My guess would be Magnetic Red with it being a 2002.

You'll be surprised I have a torch red and sometimes my looks like that color which is weird. I was checking to see if I had any on this computer but don't.

Torch Red sometimes looks orange on a pic. That looks deeper making me think mag red. Torch red RPO is "70U". The car in my avatar is Torch Red.

I can't believe Chevrolet discontinued Torch Red. It is an iconic color for the Corvette, IMHO. I don't have the color, but I sure do love it.

Torch Red does look different in different lights when photographed. I agree - in direct sunlight when photographed almost looks orange. That is not torch red... It just looks too deep and dark.

You have to go see it in person or ask for the color code. TR can take on different shades when photographed. I have photos of my TR coupe in 4 different shades of red and one in light purple...

It could be a badly taken picture, or the wrong picture with the ad, or just a dork that posted the ad.
Anyway, looking in person would be the only way to know for 100%.
