You do realize you are disagreeing with the very NCM employee that let Jim in?

Not really what information are you referring back to? I just read what Jim posted in the first thread and there was nothing in there about them opening it up earlier? Hey don't get me wrong Iam all for it if it opens earlier then expected for all the public to use and see but I haven't read any information yet that has said this. Just the sneak peak at the newer parts. Still looks like they have quite a bit left to do going by Jims pictures too. If you read or heard something else please post and let us all know. I can't wait for the place to be open really looking forward to the NCM store, cafe, and library...they look really cool!

gdarwin (Glenn Darwin) is the NCM employee that let Jim in to take these pictures. In case you didn't realize, he is also the person that maintains the NCM website.

And you just told him he is wrong.

Cool, guess the NCM folks are not all on the same page lol. Guess well just have to wait and see....Iam crossing my fingers. In time for the bash would be great! Either way....whether its just a sneak peak in April or fully open...can't wait!

Have been to the museum a number of times and its a beautifull showpiece.
Last year I went to the new Harley museum in Millwauki and it also is a beautifull facility. My main complaint is that the Corvette museum should have more history about the Corvette such as having those Corvettes on display pernamently (Corvette SS,Mako Shark I & II ,GTP,XP 700,Manta Ray etc.). A section should be set aside to show all the models through out the generations. There are to many private cars there. Harley Davidson has kept a model for almost every year that was produced since 1903 mostly mint and unrestored. Plus other Harleys that made Harley famous
Love the old Corvette museum and I know the addition will make it that much better can hardly wait till September. I feel that the museum staff should make a trip to Millwauki and maybe get some great ideas on improving their displays. just my 2 cents worth

Hi Darla...
Hey Steve, hope you're doing well...
Things are gradually getting back to normal around here after the ice storm...I still don't have Cable TV or internet service but at least my power has been restored...
(have to do all my internet surfing here at work)...
I still have a little left to clean-up but have the worst of it done now...two huge piles of brush/debris to burn so far, with some more to go....
There's still several thousand people without power around here that won't have it restored for a couple more weeks!!!!...
Darla has all her utilities back on now is doing fine and said to tell you 'Hi'...
