We bought our kit from Eckler's (see link below)

http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?p...2&dept_id=1384

They are nice, heavier duty plastic with velcro attachments. They've been on the car for almost two years and haven't had any problems with them coming off.

Plus if you want to take them off they're easy to remove.

Highly recommend them

Also check out my avatar photo...see what they look like

I got mine off ebay. I think it was like 50 bucks for some cheap black acyrlic ones that you can screw in. It included the 4 brake circle lights, the reverse lights, and the middle brake light. Install took like 15-20 minutes at most if you clean the areas thoroughly.

I painted all of my lights this last weekend with VHT nightshade and they turned out great I can take some pics if you would like and give you the details on doing it. It cost maybe 40 all together and I have enough left over to do a friends.

I had mine painted with over reduced black automotive paint. They look better than any of the kits made IMO.

I used this stuff recently as well. Did my third brake light and rear side markers. Turned out awesome! The paint was kind of tricky to use though. It cracked on me the first two times. I found it best to use REALLY light coats. I just sanded the light with 800grit wetsand, applied 8-10 very light coats of VHT, 1200grit wetsand, and clear coat (if you don't clearcoat I heard it can wash off over time.

I use the GT Designs covers. That way, if I ever get pulled over for having tinted tail lights, I can pop off the covers!
