I have a 98 vette, a few days ago I noticed that I had no instrument panel lights, no fog lamps and no rear lights. Several minutes later every thing came back on. A few days later it happen again, never came back on. Yesterday same problem but the lights came on and I turned them off quite a few times and I could not duplicate the problem. Today, I turned the lights on and everything is working just fine. Any answers or solutions to this problem?
Yes, the same thing...don't think it's that hard to swap out. Good luck.
Mine was a combination of the headlight switch and the side mount termnals on my battery not being deep enough to fully seat the battery cable bolts.
Put a new headlight switch in; still had a minor intermitent blinking, put two copper washers on the battry bolts; problem solved.
I have read here on the forum that some new batteries aren't drilled deep enough so I might check that first; I used a couple of copper washers from the hardware store. . .
