^^I have owned an FRC and 2 Z06s. The Z06 is an FRC on steroids. Stronger, faster, quicker.

I like my FRC but then again it will blow the doors off a regular Z06

If it were me, I'd probably go with the Z06. Quite a package right from the factory.

If you like the FRC body style, then I don't know why you wouldn't go with a Z06. The only reason I didn't get one is because I prefer the lines of the coupe.

FRC or ZO6? ZO6 / Thread. If I were going to get one. I prefer my coupe to the bodystyle though

I sold my c3 (68 roadster) to buy my Z06 and I have to say they are two completely different animals. Obviously the 68 was 40 years old but it never handled like the Z06. If you buy a Z06 go with an 04, they made some updates to the suspension for the last year. I love my Z06 and don't regret selling the C3 for the C5.

I bought my FRC knowing I would be replacing pretty much everything that would have made a Z06 a Z06. The extra cost would have ended up just being badges and thinner windows.

But, if you aren't planning on going crazy with modifications, I would go Z.

I agree, you got to keep the C3 as well. They are totally diffrent cars. The C5 handles great, and is comfortable, and my wife likes to ride in it. You can have a conversation.

My C3 is just as fast or faster (not stock). It is loud, it is hot, handles like a horse and buggy, and in some ways is a lot more fun! It gets more looks as well, if that is what you are into. They fill diffrent roles in my life. My C5 is fun everyday transportatoin, my C3 is car show and event custom car. It is a lot more rare, and at this point is more me than the gerneral. The general built it in St. Louis, but I fixed it. Keep the C3.
