For a stock LS1 money better spent on Used long tubes. If you really want an intake just pick up an ls6 for 300 bucks.
fasts are made for larger cam'd cars spinning up over 6500 RPM thats where the power differnce they make comes into play

Unless you are going to really mod the car, just get a set of LT headers and enjoy the performance gain.
