Wheel and tire combo?

Wheel and tire combo?
Alright, I need some real help. I was all set to get a set of of rims- 18x10.5 & 18x9.5 but was all over the board when trying to match tires. After talking to certain venders, I am more confused what is the best set up for this combo. The car is a daily driver right now (use to be GQ) and sees the track once a quarter.
I know some of you are running this combo, what tires and sizes are you using?
Also, will this combo throw off my ABS and or traction control? (a popular vender states it will)
Or should I consider 19x10 and ?? something. I have always felt our shoes in the rear should be wider but what do I know.
Lastly, show and tell me what got!

No TC issues with the above size.
