Column lock...lol!!
My excitement is picking up. New engine's in...just waiting on small things to come in here and there (valvecovers, misc gaskets/etc). Get those in, get 'em installed, fire her up for the first time. All's good, a few codes, check gages light, and I notice the 'pull key wait ten seconds' diatribe lighting up my info center. I don't think anything of it, car has sat a while, battery isn't too great. Notice an exhaust leak, get under the car to tighten up the nut/stud, and a couple break off. Knew that was going to happen. But, oh well...order more studs and continue waiting.
Today I finally get the parts, I finish up installing the new studs, tighten up the exhaust, and prepare for our maiden voyage, yay!! I go to back it out of the garage and she cuts off when I let off the clutch. I figure it must just be me, haven't driven a stick in a while. And then I realize it is the freaking column lock cutting me off at 2mph

I was like this:

But then I just had to laugh at this nonsense. I'll be placing a call to a sponsor early tomorrow morning...maybe I will get to actually drive this car soon once it decides to stop nickel and diming me!!
I have spent ten times the amount of time waiting on obscure parts than I did actually installing the engine.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

About a hour to fix them you are good to go.
I got mine from Corvettes of Houston.

My 2000 A4 had been attacked ( recalled ) by GM twice and it was still waiting to fail.
