I doubt you'll get them under neath there without them showing the bulb. Maybe ground effects will work

I'm not sure you want to ask people on this forum where to put your neons. You may not like the answers you get.

In my experience with neon lights on a Corvette, this is where you should put them.

Boy that was helpful. Same reason I don't belong to a club.

The only way to go if you plan on driving your car beyond a show trailer.

Neons weren't even cool anymore when that '98 was new.

Dude, I'm going to go with the Majority on this one. I had Neon on my WRX when i was in HS. It wasnt even cool then. but from experience, neon isnt going to happen under a C5 Corvette, Ive spend many hours under one, trust me. Now their are alof of mods you can do with interior LED's that are really cool. Personally I changed all my interior lights to red, just swisched out bulbs. 10 dollars at pep boys, and it has a neat effect. Good luck with whatever you go with.

As usual i see people posting with smart a$$ comments instead of helping the OP.
The neon tubes diameter is to big to fit under this car without being seen plus they break easily. You want to go with a led kit. I've used a led kit with front/back/sides and wheel wells for nightime carshows and they performed well also you couldnt see the bulbs. I've since removed and sold them since i've redone the car. If you have any questions PM me

All of these posts are worthless as are the people who posted them. He didn't ask ANY of you what your opinions are about neons. He was asking where/how to install them. Yes this is an open forum for opinions to be shared. So here's mine: Shut up and let him do what he wants with it. "The 80's called" Really?! 2009 called and says STFU.

As for an answer to the original question...LEDs would be good, but also look into Cold Cathode technology. They are much skinnier and brighter than neons. I think you could make it look nice if you do it tastefully. Good luck and please post the results after you're done with your project.

P.S.

I love you how dolts jump on him for neons and not the guys using DOUBLE SIDED TAPE TO HOLD DOWN A PRE-PAINTED SPOILER.

Lighten up Francis... I agree he should be able to ride on a cloud of light if he wants to.
