This may be a dumb question but i am curious if all 03' Z06's are 50th anniversary editions or does it have to actually say that on it? I am looking at one on the internet that is located in indiana at a kia dealer(of all places) and the salesman is not sure if it is or isn't. Thanks for the help in advance.
the reason why i ask is because i see alot of 03' for sale that say anniversary edition but i have never seen a Z that said it. when you look up the value of a Z on KBB one of the options is an anniversary edition which increases the value of the car by about $4000. that is quiet a chunk of change for just crome badges. I really want to find an out if all 03's are anniversary editions.

there were no anniversary edition z06's, but all 03 corvettes have the 50th badges. however, not all corvettes built in 2003 are considered anniversary editions, so that additional 4k doesnt apply to the z06 you are looking at.
i didn't see anywhere that it said they did not make a 50th Anniversary edition Z06. Maybe i missed it. What is the difference between the car with just badges and the car that is actually 50th anniversay edition. Sorry for all of the questions.
Make sure you're not confusing "Commemorative Edition" (04) with "Anniversary Edition". (03) Some AE coupes (not Z) are the red/tan combo, which is real pretty, and are loaded with all options that're still available as options on other Corvette coupes. If you pay a 4k premium, you're getting hosed.

look in the second link, only coupes and convertibles. another sure fire way is to just look at the car. all anniversary editions were anniversary red. the only red the 2003 z06 came in was torch red.
No i just saw where it said the actual 50th anniversary edition has the metallic red paint and a shale interior. It also says there were no Z06 made as 50th anniversary editions. i wasn't getting charged a premium. i was just curious as too why it was so much more money. thanks for all of the help guys. this definitely answered my question.

Real 50th anniversary Corvettes only came in "Anniversary Red Metalic".
There were cars sold with the anniversary rims, all the Corvette emblems that year had 50th on them but they were not anniversary cars. There were not any 50th anniversary Z06's made. It is the same with the 40th anniversary C4s. All the 40th anniversary cars came in Ruby Red only. There were however 40th anniversary ZR-1's made but only 245 cars made. Not sure why G.M. didnt offer the Z06 in 50th anniversary?
